Overview
A versatile wood stain and varnish from Dulux that colours and protects all kinds of woods, both indoor and outdoor. Dulux Woodsheen has a special formulation that both seals and stains wood in one, so you get a durable satin finish that protects your wood from the elements brilliantly. You can use it on bare or previously stained, planed woodwork, interior and exterior. Great for window frames, doors, cladding, skirting boards, panelling, cupboards, shelves and garden furniture.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, algae, fungi or moss. If your wood has been effected by algae, fungi or moss this must be removed and can be cleaned with products such as . To clean wood give it a good brush with a stiff brush to remove any dirt, debris or loose wood.
Application
Stir the Woodsheen thoroughly before you start to ensure an even distribution. We strongly advise you to test a small are before beginning, to ensure that you're happy with the colour and finish.
- Apply 2 coats with a brush, or for maximum protection on surfaces exposed to extreme weather, 3 coats.
- Apply using light, even strokes in the direction of the grain. Avoid overlapping.
- Leave each coat to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the next coat, sanding down lightly between coats and wiping with a damp cloth.
- Do not use in temperatures below 5°C or in high humidity.
- The final colour will depend upon the type of wood, any previous treatment to the wood and the number of coats applied, and may look different to the colour in the can. Coverage will depend on how porous the wood is.
